IS GYPSYFEST A "NUDIST" FESTIVAL?
While DeAnza Springs Resort is technically a "clothing optional," we chose the location because of the beautiful scenery and accommodations. That said, we're not encouraging GypsyFest patrons to be naked. There will likely be some members of the resort that are there and practicing nudists, but we encourage all festival-goers to be respectful. Festival attendees may choose to wear desert festival attire. Shoes are also strongly recommended.
RECOMMENDED THINGS TO BRING
We invite all attendees to bring musical instruments, sunscreen, earplugs, snacks, water, towels, etc.
RESORT AMENITIES INCLUDING USE OF POOLS
DeAnza Springs Resort offers many amenities such as tennis courts and a gym. There are also two pools, an indoor and outdoor pool, but both are subject to a "no clothing" rule and you must shower before entering. There may be additional guidelines for all amenities, so please check with the DeAnza Springs Resort main office (located near the restrooms in the restaurant) before using them.
DE ANZA IS IN THE DESERT
There are are SCORPIONS, RATTLESNAKES and other desert-bound things that can harm you! Please be aware and bring appropriate footwear - there are goatheads (mother nature's stickers/caltrops) and other dangerous things to step on.
CELL PHONE, WIRELESS, WI-FI SERVICE
As mentioned above, DeAnza Spring Resort is in the desert! This location has fairly unreliable cell service, and although some carriers work in select locations of the festival, full service is not guaranteed.
