WHAT'S THE WEATHER LIKE?
Historically at DeAnza Springs Resort, it's been in the upper 90s during the day and 50s at night. Bring loose, light clothing during the day and have plenty of water on hand for the dry desert summer, and warm clothing and sleeping gear for the night time.

FOOD & DRINKS
There will be food vendors at GypsyFest, and De Anza Springs Resort restaurant and bar will be open, so there will be plenty to eat and drink!

CASH / CREDIT CARDS
SD GypsyFest is a cash only event! Due to the remote location of festival grounds, credit card machines are expensive and unreliable. Please plan accordingly with all cash for vendors and food!

DRINKING BY THE STAGES
You may only drink alcohol purchased from DeAnza Springs Resort by the stages. All other beverages must remain at campsites. Please refrain from bringing any glass bottles or cans to the festival.

IS GYPSYFEST A "NUDIST" FESTIVAL?
While DeAnza Springs Resort is technically a "clothing optional," we chose the location because of the beautiful scenery and accommodations. That said, we're not encouraging GypsyFest patrons to be naked. There will likely be some members of the resort that are there and practicing nudists, but we encourage all festival-goers to be respectful. Festival attendees may choose to wear desert festival attire. Shoes are also strongly recommended.

RECOMMENDED THINGS TO BRING
We invite all attendees to bring musical instruments, sunscreen, earplugs, snacks, water, towels, etc.

RESORT AMENITIES INCLUDING USE OF POOLS
DeAnza Springs Resort offers many amenities such as tennis courts and a gym. There are also two pools, an indoor and outdoor pool, but both are subject to a "no clothing" rule and you must shower before entering. There may be additional guidelines for all amenities, so please check with the DeAnza Springs Resort main office (located near the restrooms in the restaurant) before using them.

DE ANZA IS IN THE DESERT
There are are SCORPIONS, RATTLESNAKES and other desert-bound things that can harm you! Please be aware and bring appropriate footwear - there are goatheads (mother nature's stickers/caltrops) and other dangerous things to step on.

CELL PHONE, WIRELESS, WI-FI SERVICE
As mentioned above, DeAnza Spring Resort is in the desert! This location has fairly unreliable cell service, and although some carriers work in select locations of the festival, full service is not guaranteed. De Anza Springs Resort does have wi-fi service at the restaurant, but usage is also not guaranteed for festival goers.

TICKETS & ENTRY
Make sure to have your tickets available at the front gate to gain entry. Tickets will be available at the gates, but remember that our festival is CASH ONLY, so you'll need to have cash to buy tickets at the gate!

TRAFFIC INFORMATION
There is an immigration / agricultural checkpoint on the way back into San Diego when leaving the festival. Traffic may be backed up due to officers checking vehicles on the routes back west.
